David Cuetos, CFA

David joined LWC in 2020. Prior to joining the firm, David worked for a decade as an investment professional in the technology sector, managing long-short portfolios of stocks for Citadel, an alternative asset manager. Previously, David worked for Bain Capital, where he was part of their public market team. David started his career out of college working for McKinsey & Company in his native Spain. He earned a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oviedo, and his MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar and a Ramon Areces Scholar. He is also a CFA charterholder and holds a CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing. David is a board member and the Assistant Treasurer of the Society for the Support of Native Americans. He is also the President of Winter Place Associates, a storied Boston-based investment club. David is a director of a family-owned company that has extensive timber holdings in Northern Maine. He is fluent in Spanish and German.
