Charles Schmidt

Charlie Schmidt joined LWC in 2023 and serves as Chief Compliance Officer and Regulatory Counsel. He oversees the firm’s audit and compliance program and provides guidance on regulatory matters affecting the organization. He is a member of the 401(k) Committee, Brokerage Committee, and Data Security Team.

Before joining LWC, Charlie served as Special Counsel in the asset management group of an international law firm and before that served as Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel at an investment advisory firm. He holds a JD from Suffolk University Law School and a BA from The Johns Hopkins University.
